I grew up watching movies like Back To The Future, ET, The Never Ending Story, and Indiana Jones. They made me believe in a world where dreams could come true if you believed and searched hard enough for them. If you never gave up. Other films like Rambo, Commando, and A Few Good Men, made me want to prove to myself that I was tough. They gave me the strength to not be afraid, to face my fears. I wanted to prove myself an uncommon man amongst uncommon men. Those movies and others like them seared a lasting image into my mind of what was possible to accomplish in this life.

People throughout time have been influenced by the dreams and accomplishments of other human beings ever since our species became self aware. Every amazing thing that has ever been accomplished started with a dream in the mind of a human being. A belief that the impossible was possible. The audacity of people like John Glenn, the first American to orbit the earth in space. Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton; these amazing human beings with their outlandish ideas changed the world. They literally changed the world. And we’re only getting started as a species. We have no idea what’s in store for us down the road. We hear so much doom and gloom about pollution, political corruption, natural disasters, and global pandemics. Yet all I can think about is what incredible solution, mind boggling invention, or creative idea another amazing human being is going to come up with.

Right now, at this very moment, we are flying around the sun like you wouldn’t believe. We are spinning in circles, flying around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour. 67,000 miles per hour. In fucking circles. Now, you tell me something, hell anything, isn’t possible. You sit there with your smug face and open your smart ass mouth and tell me otherwise. I don’t care to hear it, I really don’t because I know the absurdity of our current reality, the one I just described. The one in which a human looked up at the moon one day and dared to come up with a way to walk on it. I mean, are you fucking kidding me? That’s the world we live in, one of endless possibilities.

We live in a magical place called the Universe where anything is possible. Anything goddamn it. And don’t you dare let another person convince you otherwise with their rhetoric and their bullshit. With their goddamn negativity. Their shortsightedness and glass half empty mentality will do nothing but extinguish the fire you’ve had deep burning inside you since you were a little kid. The fire to dream, and dream big. The fire to explore and find treasure. The fire to find true love.

I don’t want to live in a world where the impossible can’t happen. Where these things don’t exist. I don’t want to live in a world where dreams can’t come true. I don’t want to live in a world where I’m not surrounded by amazing incredible people. I won’t live in a place where those things don’t exist. And these things do exist. I’ve seen it, and I’ve experienced it. So if I have to shut my ears to anything and everything that tells me otherwise, I will do so. I will not hesitate, because nothing will interfere with that dream. Nothing will interfere with that reality.

Where you live matters.

Drop me a note and let’s start hunting…
